Slowly, slowly sinking in

On the eve of my next big adventure I was treated to breakfast and a movie by a very close friend. Trying not to tear up as we said good-bye was not an easy task. Christmas is winding down and it is slowly setting in that this is the last time I will see my family for a very long time. The longest ever for that matter.

Most know I'm a 'bit' of a crier, and understatement I know, so I've packed extra tissue. Tomorrow is the start of something new.
